The textiles and clothing sector has close ties with the history of Mugler Masterpack. The first packages created were for the stockings and hosiery sectors industrialised in 19th century Saxony. Due to the changes in structures that took place in the 20th century, there are now very few clothing manufacturers in Saxony, the exceptions being manufacturers of technical textiles. These are however very successful within their niche.
